Make it Happen! Strategic Goal Planning for a Productive and Joyful 2013
Las Madres University This interactive workshop used a combination of coaching skills, business strategies, and psychological research to guide participants through the process of:
· Pausing the rollercoaster of their busy lives so they could clearly see what is truly important to them in the new year. · Identifying meaningful, high-impact goals that really matter and creating a concise, easy-to-follow plan to reach them. · Developing strategies and structures to stay accountable, motivated, and on track in following their plans and improving their lives.
Coaches and Therapists Working Together
South Bay Mental Health Network Through open collaboration, coaches and psychotherapists can enhance each others' professional effectiveness and provide their clients with a well-rounded network of support. This training enhanced psychotherapists' knowledge of collaborating with coaches by addressing:
· A basic overview of the coaching profession and how it relates to psychotherapy · When to refer a client to coaching and what to look for in a coach · How to collaborate with coaches to maximize client service and broaden perspective
Creating Positive Change
Therapy Works of Los Gatos Change is all around us, whether it’s by choice, by necessity, or by force. What determines whether the changes in your life will be opportunities or setbacks? What motivates you to keep going and what stops you in your tracks? How can you be clear and intentional about where your transitions will take you? This workshop discussed these questions and explored some concrete techniques for making the most of change.

Cardea Center for Women This workshop helped participants explore where they were, figure out where they wanted to be, and create a plan to bridge the gap.
Parenting & Partnership Staying Connected in the Early Years
Blossom Birth Resources This workshop focused on the challenges and opportunities faced by couples as they welcome a new child. With a mix of theoretical information, practical strategies, and interactive learning opportunities participants learned how to thrive as a couple and create a road map toward their future as a family.
