This weekend, get all Nike-like and just do it! Pick a few things that won't take very long but will give you some big bang for the buck. If you need some inspiration, here's what's on my list:
1. Route the drip irrigation system to the pots holding my new tomato plants so that no one needs to take the time or brainspace to remember to water them by hand.
2. Attach all of the magazine scraps I've so carefully cut out for my Vision Board and post the board on the wall in front of my desk.
3. Send an email to a friend I've lost touch with to schedule a time to reconnect.
For you, it may be something entirely different. Cleaning out your closet to simplify and de-stress your morning prep, putting a nail or keyhook next to your door to avoid those frantic searches when you're already running late, taking the first step to set up a recurring service for your own well-being, such as personal training, a gym membership, psychotherapy, or life coaching (my email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Just saying...) or any number of other things might be just what you need. So pick a few quickies off your own list and just get 'em done. I'll bet you'll feel fabulous afterward!
